I am appalled that you would sell a service that you don't already have available. I switched my services to the "bundled" pricing plan for $144.95 which is supposed to include Gigablast, security monitoring, cable, and my landline. So far, I've only had the Homelife people show up to install the cameras. No Gigablast, no landline installation, no cable update. AND, because you have not installed the other pieces, you are now billing me at a much higher rate for each piece individually. So, instead of saving a lot of money each month, my bill just went up by over $100 per month. I am now being told that it will be June 26th before you will install the Gigablast equipment as well as my landline but I am expected to pay for services at a much higher rate until you can do it. Guess what??!!!! DON'T SELL PLANS THAT YOU DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE AVAILABLE TO SELL. I WILL NOT BE PAYING INCREASED RATES FOR SERVICE THAT I AM NOT RECEIVING AND THAT IS CLEARLY IN CONFLICT WITH ALL OF YOUR PRINTED MATERIALS WHICH CAUSED ME TO CALL FROM THE BEGINNING!!!!
I have been with Cox for more than 15 years and have had to defend your company at every turn.....well that will never happen again unless you can resolve this. I was told today after being on the phone for 54 minutes that I will have to wait until somebody's "manager" can call me back in 24 hours. Absolutely ridiculous - I have managed call centers at the executive level for more than 20 years and would never structure my business in a way that doesn't allow the front-line staff solve problems. The first two folks that I talked to were great - they saw and understood immediately what was happening. However, in order to get anything done about it, I had to be transferred to Kyle the "Supervisor" who was of absolutely no assistance. All Kyle can do is say, well, the package discounts won't be applied until we can get out there and get the work done which isn't currently scheduled til June 26. By the way, why is it that nobody from Cox has told me that nothing was going to be done until June 26?? I WILL NOT PAY FOR SERVICES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN MADE AVAILABLE. I WOULD NEVER AGREE TO INCREASE MY MONTHLY BILL FOR NO IMPROVEMENT IN SERVICE - ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! IN FACT, MY WIRELESS IS NOW HORRIBLE BECAUSE THE ONLY THING THAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED WAS TO SEND THE SECURITY TEAM FROM HOMELIFE OUT TO REPLACE MY ALREADY EXISTING SECURITY SYSTEM WITH THE COX SYSTEM AND SO IT HAS MANAGED TO COMPLETELY CRIPPLE MY WIRELESS CAPACITY SINCE THE GIGABLAST IS NOT INSTALLED! SO MUCH FOR MANAGING A BUSINESS FROM HOME. SO, I GET LESS SERVICE FOR OVER $100 MORE PER MONTH???!!!!!
