HBO MAX

I was just told by customer support that HBO MAX is not/will not be available on my tv. So why am I paying for HBO?

tv's made before 2016 can't connect.

Samsung is currently the only TV compatible for Max, so it's Samsung TV sets before 2016.

Ain't matter no how because either a Firestick or Roku would be cheaper.

    thanks, i wasn't aware of samsung being the only one capable, mine are older samsungs!

    true but more limited.

      bearone2, you take 1 step forward then 2 steps backwards.  How would a separate streaming device be more limited than a TV app?

        in my case with live info from cox rep, my older tvs aren't compatible with the max app, can't be added!!

        again, you answered your own question above but still ask the same question about streaming samsung tv's before 2016!!
