How is it that each time a complaint like this arises it's on the customer to address and then pay for the services of repair when it's the fault of Cox that the infrastructure isn't maintained?

When an issue is reported, we will troubleshoot as best as possible. Sometimes, a service call is necessary. Any issues with Cox equipment or signal delivery would not be chargeable. This has never been the case. I have been charged with a service visit on three separate occasions when the technician never serviced any equipment within my home and explicitly stated it was due to infrastructure updates in the area.
You should understand what's happening on the ground level before making claims that you cannot substantiate.

This is the worst, canned explanation of this forum. Anyone who posts here presents an issue that cannot resolved without expert intervention. Then they are met with the same non-answers that are copy-and-pasted a dozen times by you and your fellow moderators. None of you have helped any of us understand why Cox cannot communicate with us. I still have yet to receive a single non-automated response from the Cox.Help email address.
