Internet a joke
My internet is consistently going out. Sometimes a few minutes, sometimes longer. I use smarthelp, I call customer service, they say a reset might help. This is not an in house issue, it happens to at least 2 of my neighbors. From what I read on Facebook and this site we are not alone. Why would I ever consider upgrading or using your supposedly fantastic mobile service, when the internet I receive is so poor?susankayk3 hours agoVisitor45Views0likes2Comments- kendrar7515 hours agoVisitor22Views0likes1Comment

Cox.net Email ported to yahoo - email address permanent?
We are considering leaving Cox for all services. We ported our email as required to Yahoo successfully earlier this year. Even though our email is "@cox.net", we assume Yahoo will continue to support that email address even without Cox internet, but would like confirmation before we drop our other Cox services. Thanks for your help.MacAZ21 hours agoVisitor II35Views0likes1CommentConstant internet down, Unacceptable!
I’ve lost four days of work in the last two weeks today has been spotty on and off. Customer service just tells me that they’re doing their best but still no resolution. It’s a **bleep** shame for a large company to not be able to provide consistent service in the service for some people like me it’s all that’s available, it’s expensive and unreliableJgvige22 hours agoNew Contributor111Views1like3CommentsCox service reliability
More than a week ago Cox service was down for about 14 hours for a scheduled maintenance, since then, except for a two day period, the service had been down for more than 4 hours each day. And when it was up, the internet service would repeatedly experience slow speeds and repeated dropouts. so effectively we have been without useable service for nearly a week. If I had another service provider, I would be inclined to drop Cox. As it is they should refund us for the days without service.skipberry1324 hours agoVisitor21Views1like1Comment- Rmejbon2 days agoVisitor II21Views0likes1Comment
Outage with no repair timeline
Our Cox service (Gigabkast customers) went down last week at 11:30 on Wednesday and had not been back up since. We stopped getting repair estimates on Wednesday night. On Friday, I attempted to call support to ask if they can communicate any timelines at all as my husband runs his business from home and I’m a full-time remote worker, and the support center laughed at me (and obviously didn’t provide any answer). I’m at the end of my rope and we are ready to cancel and switch to satellite because at least we would have SOME service, even if it’s not the speeds we are used to. Does anyone else have any experience in an outage this long with no repair timeline?SRF122 days agoNew Contributor36Views0likes1CommentCox internet down again
Cox internet has been down due to a ‘network issue in the area’ for over 24 hours for the second time in 10 days. I work from home, so this means I cannot work (again). Communication is terrible and there is no indication of when it will be restored. Time to switch.crcreegan3 days agoNew Contributor68Views0likes3Comments
