Internet having poor connection

We've received several text msgs about service outages in the last several weeks. Our problem is that we continue have very sketchy service since all this started. What can be done so we can go back to the reliable service we've had in the past?  Is anyone having these issues with tv streaming "circling" and poor/weak wifi signal?  Thanks
