This has happened way too many times on this forum alone. Always the same answer after much investigating. "We can't retreive any old messages for you".

It is important to note that the Unread Message Retention in your email Inbox is Sixty (60) days. This means that any messages left unread in your inbox for 60 days are subject to be deleted. "Unread Message Retention in Spam Folder" in the feature list is 30 days.
"Message Retention in Spam Folder" in footnotes is 21 days.
According to the footnotes, messages in Spam folder are subject to deletion after 21 days, whether they're read or not. That's inconsistent with 30 days indicated in the features list.
