Hello Taffeys,
Do you have any Filter Rules set up? If so, please check the conditions and actions set up to see if it's causing emails to be tagged as Spam.

Hello Mary,
No Filter Rules set-up; never used any as I have my email clients do all of that. That is why I am asking how this tagging is happening.

Hello,
There is not an option for "not spam"; only block, delete, archive, and mark as spam.
Are you implying that Cox scans all emails and marks them as spam if they "appear" to be spam to Cox and a user cannot op-out of such action?
- StephanieAFormer ModeratorTaffeys,
After you log into your email, please click on the Settings Icon (The gear icon in the top right corner) and click on Settings. Click on the arrow next to Inbox and you should see Spam Settings. The options you will have are No Spam filtering, Automatically deliver to Spam folder, and Delete Spam messages without delivering to Inbox. Please choose your desired option and click on the top Inbox option.

Please read my OP.... "I have Spam filtering off"
Is anyone from Cox going to answer my questions? Do any of you actually use Cox WebMail?
- StephanieAFormer ModeratorI apologize. Please email cox.help@cox.com with the email message that is being tagged and a link to this post to review.

Per TiffanyR's advice I have been forwarding every email that Cox has incorrectly identified as spam to thisisnotspam@cox.net since there is not an option to select "not spam" for these emails.
Let me be clear, this is not one email being tagged inappropriately by Cox but about 25 such since Monday alone. I have confirmed these tagged emails appear on Cox WebMail tagged as --SPAM-- and are picked-up by my email clients and they forward them to a spam folder.
So you want me to email such emails to help@cox.net? No one else has this problem?

Hello Taffeys,
We would need to take a closer look at your email account. Please email us at cox.help@cox.com with your full name, street address, and the email address affected. Also, include a link to this post. The emails that are being tagged as SPAM, are they from the same domain? Please share in the email what email addresses are being tagged as SPAM.

So far today I have received 9 emails from different domains that were tagged as SPAM. Only one of these was suspect.
So the "No Spam filtering" setting does not work. Is that unique to my email account?
I will contact cox.help@cox.com but there is no way I am going to list the over 50 emall addresses that have been incorrectly tagged as SPAM in the last few weeks. I have forwarded most of them to thisisnotspam@cox.net so Cox has that information already.
