Disabling Voice Mail

I've turned off Voice Mail in the Tools section, but when I'm on a call and another call comes in, it still gets forwarded to Voicemail. I don't want this! I don't want a caller to have a chance to leave a message if I am already on the line. My call waiting feature alerts me a call is coming in, and the incoming caller will know I'm on the other line because the phone continues to ring. That's the way I want it.

    the incoming caller knows you're on the line when kicked to vm.

    i've never heard of vm continuing to ring when on a call.....seems it would be quite a distraction!
