Have it- and it gets maybe 20% of the illegal harassment calls. It does not appear to work on spoofed numbers which are supposed to be illegal. My understanding of the law is that service providers are supposed to take a more active role in dealing with the problem- but I suppose like most new laws passed ostensibly to protect consumers, there's probably no teeth to the new law which amounts to another placebo button to placate a herd of gullible animals.
Because of the scale of the problem I keep all my ringers off... don't want to hear them at all... and by your response you've essentially said that Cox isn't doing a damned thing. It's illegal targeted harassment that has been going on for decades.
It’s just got to the point where I take the phone off the hook until 9:00 at night some days. Nomorobo is about as effective at blocking calls as weathermen are predicting the weather: it’s a crapshoot whether or not a call is going to get blocked. And it’s frustrating because all of the numbers seem to be from the same area code for me (Area code 475, which is a newer CT area code while most legit people still have 203 numbers in that area). It’s always a 475 2xx-xxxx number with either the name of the town, name unavailable, or anonymous. I think I’ve reported at least 200 of these types of numbers to Nomorobo, and they just keep coming through unabated like Ive never reported a number before. If I get 2 that aren’t blocked before noon, the phone goes off for the rest of the day. And yesterday, I got a call with the ID “1” that wasn’t blocked. If it weren’t for the ridiculous bundling, I just assume drop it because it’s essentially has the same function as an appendix.

If it states "Not Protected," then this indicates that the nomorobo service is not working correctly. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator

It says protected. So it’s just a failure of the product to weed out these calls
