I have a Client box on Contour 2 that appears to go on and off on one particular TV. When I turn in that TV the picture flashes on and off. I have to restart that box to fix issue. My other boxes do not seem to have this issue. Is this a sign of a defective box?
A mini-box may occasionally display a picture briefly when the TV is turned on, then a "No signal" message. It will reconnect on its own in a minute or so without powering the box off and on again. It's annoying, but every one I've ever had has done that.
Do you turn off this Mini Box when you're not using it? It could be a defective box. You could move it to another TV to duplicate the issue.
