Update: I rebooted and now the remote works! So happy. However, earlier I had enabled closed caption because I couldn't hear the announcers on the Seattle game because the crowd was so loud. Now, the closed caption words have moved from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen and now cover up the contour menu when I enter it. The pain continues.
Hi Coxprblms, the Contour 2 DVR will auto-pad recordings of live sporting events, but I've not heard of the DVR auto-padding by 2 hours. That is a bit excessive, and I see how that might interfere with other scheduled recordings. It appears that a video specialist attempted to reach you last week to further troubleshoot this issue. I let them know that you are still experiencing problems with DVR functionality, so you should get a call this evening or tomorrow evening. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
