How to remove tv service from account

Any help would be great

  • Do an Internet search for Cox Store <your city>.  Call the local Cox store to verify they're open and tell them you need to return equipment.  Take your cable box(es) and the remote(s) into the Cox store you contacted and tell the Cox representative you're there to cancel the TV service for your account.  Show them your picture ID and a recent Cox statement.  Ask for a printed receipt and verify it includes all equipment you returned.  Verify all serial numbers are correct.  Ask the Cox rep to calculate the prorated amount of your TV service you're due as a credit.  You might want to jot it down on the receipt and ask the Cox rep to sign and date it.  Take it home and file it where you can find it later, in case Cox says you didn't return their equipment or if you don't see the prorated credit by your second statement.  (The service cancellation and prorated credit may not be included on your next one.  Cox generates statements in advance of the billing date).
