- BeckyModeratorHi Everyone, we are investigating the issue with multiple Contour Guide channels displaying LA/PEG. The issue seems to be impacting every Cox market. I'm sorry for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused this morning! Our video teams are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

Thanks for the update. Do you have an estimate of how long this will take.

This is just ridiculous. For the amount of money we pay you every month, the outages happen every week- NO EXAGGERATION! All of our local and done cable channels are doing this in the Wichita area. Time to look for something else I think.

Yes! Woke up to the same problem. Wanted to hear all about the Las Vegas Golden Knights Stanley cup celebrations and all local news stations are down. Cox has had a lot of issues lately with outages and now news stations being down again. This has happened before.

Same here, basically all the local channels have disappeared and show LA/PEG. I reset the box and it didn’t help (Las Vegas, NV)

Hi Everyone, I wanted to provide a quick update. Our video teams have confirmed that all of the following issues are related:
- Local channels in the Guide display LA/PEG
- XRE-03114 error is displayed on screen
- Local channels are missing or displaying green screen when viewed through the Contour App and WatchTV.cox.com
Thanks again for your patience as we get these issues resolved for you today. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

So the question is are we getting a refund for service not provided?
- DarkattHonored Contributor
If they are down for 9 hrs, would you like to know how much of your CABLE bill will be refunded? If your cable bill itself is 180$ a month, (I know a bit of an exaggeration), and Cox provides lets say a 12 hour credit, you get a whopping 3$. I agree you are due a credit, but you will need to wait till the outage is completed and everything back up, before they can credit you the actual time you were out. I use an antenna myself.

Channels are back and viewable, but won't allow recording. Claims a subscription to the channel is needed in order to record. These are all local broadcast channels.

Update. Couldn't reset my boxes with the Cox app, but after the channels returned I and could view but not DVR them, I unplugged each of them and I can see and record the broadcast channels that had the LA/PEG on them earlier today. Wish Cox would tell us what went wrong.

Have any of you tried resetting the box? If so, any effect? Wonder if a bad guide push went out to the boxes after an upgrade.

Same issue here in OKC. What's up COX? Resetting my contour box had no effect on the TV Guide issue.

No problem with Cox TV (Contour 1) listings . It's a Contour (Contour 2) thing.

I think the key word is "local" which may point to OTA.
This appeared to have occurred with an HDHomeRun tuner.
If you search "la/peg" silicondust you'll see the result; however, it's just a cached result.
