Dynamic Range Window violation and "RNG-RSP CCAP Commanded Power Exceeds Value Corresponding to the Top of the DRW
So I have a Arris SB8200, and it seems this kinda thing always happens this time of year. The drop line has been replaced twice in 3 years. Which leads me to believe it's something at the plant or not too far down the road as the configuration of our home network including the router and modem have been the same and have not moved since the tech installed and provisioned them. Doing this fixes it for a while and then it all goes out of whack, usually because the tech files a report to have a plant mechanic come out and look at everything and they fiddle with the node at the end of the street and that fixes it. When I see power levels this high https://imgur.com/a/9AYSJeF https://imgur.com/uLGfLLV And log files that look like this: https://imgur.com/E10yaYS It's kinda concerning that this is a repeat thing and that the logs are showing it's repeating over and over.4.2KViews0likes1CommentInternet problem escallation
I wanted 1 Gig internet. I went to the Cox store and got the Cox modern / router. After install, my speeds were brutally slow. Cox decided that there was a physical problem with the Cable. they came out and ran a new piece under the street and replace the cable into the house. Then I get charged $100 for cox to replace their own hardware. the tech even tried a replacement modem. still it was 60% slower than advertised. Anyway I digress, speed with ethernet hard wire 105mbps, with wifi 305mbps. when i call all i get is everything is good.......UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cox likes to tell me what I can do to fix such as take the router in and get a replacement. I pay for service, in this case $100 that was never disclosed to me (surprise!) Canned responses and deflection does not solve my service issues. I need someone that can take action.577Views0likes2Comments
