OFDM PLC errors on MB8600. on Firmware 8600-19.3.15.
Is anyone else seeing no errors on the event log, no uncorrectable errors occuring on anything but Channel 33 OFDM PLC where they are at roughly 400,000,000 in less than 48 hours. Wondering if it's an issue with the firmware but can't find a reliable reference. Modem is stable, everything is working wonderfully. MB8600 on Firmware 8600-19.3.15.

Hello All, I have been having issues with my cox internet services the past few months that have been driving me crazy. I have been having intermittent loss of connection while using applications that require an uninterrupted consistent connection. Examples: Live streaming, online gaming, skype, etc. I have went through the process of elimination by getting all new equipment (router/modem) and ensured that the connection to my modem was direct (no splitters). There is always a signal but it always gets interrupted and worsens as the day gets warmer and more users start to go online in the neighborhood. It is especially bad during the summer. From what i can tell from the logs from my modem and from the online research ive done, ive come to the conclusion tat there is something wrong with the line/drop leading up to my house. The frequencies/power levels seem to fluctuate and the amount of uncorrecatble codewords rise as the day gets hotter. I think the nodes that support my internet are getting too hot and popping ever 5-10 mins if that. I have a bunch of logs to support my theory. My modem is a Netgear CM1100 and my router is a Netgear XR500, both of which are brand new and i have checked their setting multiple times. Ive called cox so many times and they ahev failed to listen to what ive been telling them. not to mention, they set an appointment for me and proceeded to tell me there wasnt one scheduled when i spent an hour on the phone with them the day prior explaining this to them. and her i am, waiting for a techinician that will never arrive like I was told they would be.
