Who here thinks the 1280GB cap is ludacrous?
How is it that the highest paying customers of the ultimate tier are limited to 1280GB per month? This cap should be at least 3TB if not lifted all together. In the world of online gaming and 4k media streaming this is abysmal. A single video game download is almost over 100GB these day. Cox needs to fix up if you want to retain your customers before something better comes along. Right now you're riding a wave because customers are stuck without better ISPs in certain areas of Orange County. Super annoyed with Cox.ðŸ˜490Views0likes0CommentsCapping Internet usage is a slap in the face for COX customers.
here is what COX has to say: I’m really sorry you’re experiencing this problem. Cox Data Service is never been unlimited but limited 1024 Gb ( 1 terabyte per month) Cox notified all his customers that they were no longer going to do exceptions for those customers going over the Data limit and that any additional block of 50 Gb would be charged $10.00 each. Notifications were sent via email, Account alerts sms, Bill and also on the bill news from cox. That's what happened when there is nonet neutrality. internet providers can do what they want, I am not even talking about the privacy of our data. I am taking out my TV and internet and going with a different provider and pay only for internet. no respect for customers.537Views1like0CommentsHistorical Data Usage - Data Errors
We were charged for a data overage for January saying we used 1,228GB of data. The prior month of Dec we used 684GB and only 344GB in Feb. I really want to see what the daily usage for January was (we were out of town, forgot to look until now). No one was in our house for 1 week of that month, it makes zero sense to have that large of a variation in data usage. We got our first warning on the 27th that we hit 85% of our data and two days later we were told we'd gone beyond 100% of our data....WE WEREN'T EVEN HOME. There's no way we used > 150GB of data in two days with no one in our house (and locked WIFI, no change in security system, etc). From the data I can see we've never topped 30GB of data and that's happening on the weekend when we're gaming/streaming. Currently I can't see daily data usage beyond Feb 6th and only 3 months of monthly data. How can I get a detailed summary of our daily usage going back several months to help figure out what is going on?842Views0likes1Comment
