Panoramic WiFi signal lost
so we had Panoramic so if for about three months and we had to many issue. Almost every other weekend our singal for both 2.4 and 5g can’t connect to a single device around the house. Trying to reset through with an operator couple times and they couldn’t connect. They recommend us that it was a equipment issue and to go return it. We did and we still have the issue. Hey, I have had tech support over to my house several times since starting Cox six months ago. Both the technicians and the phone people are incredibly kind people, and helped out as much as they could. However: I am paying you money for 5 megs per second. Internet access is wildly inconsistent throughout the day. Videos often just cut out and stop working randomly, too. This moment very moment, for instance, I have a video trying to play, which has been playing for 10 minutes just fine, and now it's just clogged up and not working. This is quite consistent. The fact it was even playing at all is beyond my comprehension. I am of the theory that either you throttle my internet access at random times throughout the day, or your broadband is total garbage. I have checked my modem consistently, researched the issue thoroughly, and it is not my end that is at fault here. My computer is new-ish, and has no trouble accessing the internet when I am connected to other sources. So I ask you: I am paying you money for internet. Your internet is insanely low quality, and not of the advertised speed. I have had accounts with CenturyLink for years, paid for this very speed, and had consistently fast and accessible speeds throughout my time with them. Your internet at this same speed is total garbage. I was REQUIRED to get your internet by the apartment complex I was in, and received no discount because of it. I had to sign a contracted given to that company by Cox saying that I could only get Cox. It had a Cox header on it too, giving it an official-looking tinge of something Cox gave to that company. So I'm just stuck with you because you either paid off my apartment complex, and/or because you cut up the city (Tempe, AZ) in such a way that it renders it impossible for me to go to any other company that would probably not charge their customers $30 for garbage internet. I guess my question is a basic one: why does your internet *** so much? Is this something your company has sought to create? Did it get too good and you decided to scale back its quality (i.e., become a "gatekeeper" that screws all non-corporate websites)? Or is running an ISP so difficult that you cannot make it work well, work consistently, or work in a way that benefits the customer? Please answer me. When using WiFi my connection drops for about 30-40 seconds and then reconnects this happens about every 30 minutes. When plugged directly to the modem there is no loss of connection. My modem is a cox modem, my router is new. I have the highest speed available. I teach online and the multiple disconnecting is causing me to evaluate other providers. My internet severely slows in speed when I need it the most! The speed test shows 8-15 mbps for download and upload speeds. That's using Cox's own speed test! New router and modem. Ethernet and wifi. No other users online. Cleared cache history. Rebooted router and modem. I'm paying for 150 mpbs. The techs have come out multiple times, the last one being less than two days ago. I have been having chronic network issues for over 4 months now. At first I thought that my issues were purely due to the fact that I was experiencing issues when running my PC off of a wifi extender, but after setting up a new hard wire connection to my computer, I have been experiencing the same behavior that I had been seeing before. Also, my issues have not been limited to my computer. When connecting to my wifi network on my phone or TV I experience the same behaviors that I do when being connected via ethernet. I now keep my network graph constantly open on one of my monitors so that I can take a screenshot of it whenever I experience issues. Since October 7 of this year I have over 240 screenshots with each showing the same behavior. I will be operating like normal and then I will experience a sudden loss of network quality to the point of not being able to load basic web pages. There are hardly every any noticeable symptoms that can show that I am about to lose connection, most graphs are healthy for whatever operation I happen to be performing at the time whether that be video streaming, downloading, or playing online video games. The constant issues have becoming an increasingly annoying detriment to my daily routine and have even prevented me from being able to play most online games out of fear that I will be kicked from the match to a loss of connection and will face penalties for perceived poor teamwork.3.3KViews0likes5CommentsCrazy High ping.
I'm experiancing massive ping multiple times a day to the point using the internet for gaming is impossible and casual surfing is unbareably slow. I have a high speed package, and have had technicians come to the house and they havn't managed to fix the issue. So Ive been having issues with the new Panoramic that was just installed. My internet just keeps dropping service and I have no idea why. I checked the event log and this is what it saw.
