Conversion to myemail.cox.net
When should we expect classicwebmail to convert to the new myemail.cox.net interface? My wife's account was converted in December 2017. As of 31 July 2018, mine was not converted. On 1 August the new interface worked for a couple of hours and had all my emails. Later that evening the emails disappeared and now I have to use the original clunky classic webmail, again. When should we anticipate the conversion? This has taken too long with too many unfulfilled promises and excuses along the way. Is this anyway to take care of a 20+ year customer.6.7KViews0likes2CommentsUnable to send email on android overseas
I've seen this question asked a million times but not answered. In a foreign country (the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Italy, ...) Connected via WIFI or 4G, doesn't matter. Sending from an IMAP client (tho' the outgoing server is smtp.cox.net, is there any other option?) on my android, the mail sits in the outbox saying failed. Returning to the states, the email sends. Using webmail.cox.net (redirects to idm.west.cox.net/coxlogin/....blah blah), I get a capcha (click I am not a robot) followed by a required entry of last 4 of SSN. Sending an email here fails with Message could not be sent.... (550-550 146.20.112.67 blocked ....) AUP#CXBL I understand that Cox bluntly blocks seemingly all foreign IP to prevent spammers and I can request a white list on an IP, but that's not a workable solution asI move from location to location. Is there a method that allows me to confidently use Cox email overseas on my android or am I forced to another email service?5.1KViews0likes9CommentsI'm going Crazy with this email issue
Spent an hour with online chat.... thought we had it fixed...... I have done all the steps to update the security of my account.... now can't send emails! My WEB email works just fine.... I know my log in name and password.... but the Windows live program and my phone email won't work..... HELP this is the error message. Ever since I checked the required "server requires authentication" and it asks for my username and password.... which is correct as it works on webmail just fine to log on.... it just won't accept it! Oh well, my hubby wants to dump Cox Internet and go with CenturyLink's great deal... so it may not matter! The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. The sender's email address was '****e@cox.net'. I signed up for Cox a month ago. When I activated my Cox sponsored security, it linked an email address for my account with Cox. I repeatedly tried to log in and it said I had incorrect info. I looked into it and all I can find is Cox no longer offers email to new customers but continue to maintain it for customers before Sept 2019. Why is that. Something doesn't sit right with me about that. Could someone explain???4.4KViews0likes7CommentsNo Access to Email
I recently started Cox service and when I signed up I was told I would get a Visa gift card. I have tried accessing my emails a number of times to try get the details about the gift card and every time the email just loads and loads and nothing comes up. I have left it loading for hours and tried all different browsers and still nothing. I contacted Cox support and was told engineering would look into the issue. Is anyone else having this problem and is there anything I can do?! They always tell me they will contact me when they find the problem but I can't check my email! Thank you for any help.3.5KViews0likes3CommentsNew email App - How to open messages in new tab
I had used the old Cox webmail in Chrome for many years. With that App you could open an email in a new tab by right clicking on the email in the Inbox list and choosing Open in New Tab. I was recently migrated to the new webmail App at myemail.cox.net. I don't see how to open emails in a new tab. Can this be done with the new email App?Solved2.7KViews0likes1CommentNew Email App - Search Functionality Not Working
When I enter search criteria, such as a sender's email name, in the Search box just above the Folder Pane, the search of my Inbox only returns the most very recent instances of the sender's name. I know there are many more instances it should be finding, because when I clear the search criteria and scroll the mail list downward several pages, I can manually find additional instances by looking through the list myself. This of course is not an effective process when there are hundreds of pages to be searched on. Can someone tell me how to get the Search function of the new email App to search on my entire Inbox?2KViews0likes1CommentEmail does not open
I have been having this problem for months now and it seems to fall on deaf ears with Cox. I see a lot of other people are having the same issues. I have done those steps others say to do and the email would open intermittently on sparse occassions but the same problem still persists. I have not been able to my email on my Windows operating system Laptop utilizing Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Opera for weeks now. The only place I have been able to open my webmail is on my iPhone which appears to be un-effected. Cox is aware the new web-mail is flawed and yet they still have done nothing about it and have not reverted back to the old system until they can fix it's glitches.
