SB8200 and other Arris Event Log Page Problems After July 2023 Cox Firmware Push
After CoxTB01.03.001.16_091322_212.0A firmware push, the Event Logs page shows an odd text message pasted over the upper left corner of Event Log page and NO Event Log entries are downloaded. The text says: Confirm Settings Do You Want to Continue? Disable and Continue Cancel But none of those supposed links is active for clicking. Anyone else seeing this? (Especially since the push of 8600-19.3.15?) Plus, 0 up on OFDMA, 1 down on OFDM. Acquire DS channel: 849000000 Hz. In re: the admin utility/GUI (192.168.100.1 ... THE EVENT LOG IS MISSING(?!!)... the complete list of channels is missing... the log out function is missing, etc. Anybody else with these issues? I’ve factory reset using the admin web utility/GUI, I’ve hard reset using the paper clip in the reset button on the back of the device, I’ve Cox modem reset, I’ve rebooted using the modem web admin utility, I’ve rebooted using the on/off button, I’ve power cycled by unplugging, I’ve unplugged the coax and plugged back in, etc... Hi, I have a CM1100 modem, about 3 months out of the box. I am experiencing time outs. The all modem lights stay connected. Only quick but noticeable drops. There are no coaxial splitters inside or the outside box. I remember the team of technicians that setup my service say that my house is bit far from the node. I live in Springfield, VA. I have a Netgear CM600 modem and have been receiving uncorrectables of hundreds of thousands and millions in a very limited uptime (< 24 hours). I am having this problem on every channel operating between 649-813MHz. The amount of uncorrectables varies, but is still very high for all of them. Alongside this problem, I have been experiencing network instability and modem crashing about every hour or so. Side note: I have tested a different modem (Arris SB6190) and have gotten the same, if not worse, results. The event log for each modem has showed me a different combination of errors like: -RCS Partial Service -SYNC Configuration Time out -Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out -No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out Cox Technical Support, including the technician who came into my house, said that everything on their side looked good (GREEN). This problem arose after changing my Motorola SURFboard modem to something from this decade (ie. SB6190 and CM600) due to a small UPLOAD SIDE packet loss issue (1-3%) I was having while gaming online. Never any crashing until now. The technician took out a splitter from my setup and placed my internet cable on a splitter with an amplifier. The problem does not seem to have changed though.
