Favorites Disappeared From Favorites Guide
Over the weekend, all my favorited movies and TV shows disappeared from the Favorites Guide (Contour button > Saved tab > Favorites tab) but they still are individually flagged as favorite. I spoke to some of your chat agents, several of them, but I’m 100% certain they are outsourced overseas and script-bound because not a *** one of them had the slightest idea what I was talking about— not one— and I was speaking in perfectly plain English (I hope whichever agent is assigned to this post is not overseas, please god.) I have restarted my device, unplugged it, unplugged the coax cables, and my Favorites Guide is still empty. Obviously, several people are having the same problem. As a company, I hope this is now a known-issue, with a resolution in progress.2.4KViews0likes4Comments- 1.9KViews0likes0Comments
Issue with Contour box and setting my favorite channels
Well I basically gave up on my old cable box and the 'Recording Error' messages so got a replacement box. They gave me the new Contour 2 record DVR for the same cost and service (according to them). Some of the things I need to figure out like I had the hate new search process and I lost a component plug in and need a HDMI splitter to connect to TV and my DVD player. But my biggest headache so far is setting favorite channels. I keep adding the same channels over and over again. When I add the channels that were lost the first time I keep them and lose some of the previous ones. Has anyone else had this issue? is there some kind of limit to how many favorite channels you can set because I do have a ton of channels on my list? Get guide to only show favorites?
I have aMotorola CMX3203 (notcontour) and I am wondering if there is a way to show only my subscribed channels. I set all of the channels I get to my favorite list, but now I can't find any way to set the guide so that it only shows favorites. I also tried to do it the other way, byaddingthe other channels to the skipped list. But that didn't seem to solve the problem either. Any way to accomplish this?5.7KViews0likes10CommentsNeed channel ID or info for on-demand channels past 2000
First let me say how pleased I was to notice the new sliding menus and scrolling titles on the Guide. Much more visually appealing than it was before. How about introducing relevant channel data/info for the 2000+ channel block for on-demand channels for the purpose of bookmarking favorites? While it's easy to view channel numbers and call letters when setting up favorites on channels up to 2000, once past that it's confusing and frustrating at best. If I didn't keep a written list of my favorites I'd have no way of knowing a specific HBO from a Showtime, Starz or you name it. I keep that list due to the fact that in the past Contour 9865HDC has continually added channels to that list not of my choosing, and yes, I make sure it's listed under my user name.2KViews0likes1Comment
