Cox not paying on time

I accepted COX mobile offer of an iphone 16 recently, whereby they make the payment each month on the phone.

I was required to create a credit account with something called CITIZENS PAY to finance the phone at 0% interest. The payments are due the 1st of the month, but COX is making them on the 24th. So for 23 days each month I get hounded by CITIZEN PAY about late payments.

I am afraid this will eventually affect my credit score report. When I tried to contact COX, I ended up texting with someone in India who had no understanding of how to correct this, and the CITIZEN Pay representative told me I have to get COX to fix the problem.

How? Any suggestions?

Here is what I received back when I contacted COX.Help

"I know how important it is to be sure your Citizen Pay account is fixed to be sure your payments are processing on time. Citizen Pay support is available to help you regarding your Citizen Pay account, bill, and device payments by phone on the Ciizens Pay App, website pay.citizensbank.com/auth/login , or phone 1-877-291-6391. Because the Citizens Pay account is different from the Cox Account, our support is not able to answer questions about the Citizen Pay account."

So Cox says it is Citizens Pay problem to fix, Citizen Pay says it is COX's problem to fix.
So I don't consider this problem to be solved.
