Hi Lovekatz, I assure you we do not sell our customers’ information to third parties. We supplement our in-house direct sales teams with contractors that go door-to-door. We supply only the most basic Cox account information and empower these representatives to offer upgrades to current customers and bundle promotions for non-customers. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
yes. and they LIE! had this happen a couple of years ago. when your service call showed up, there WAS a steep price increase. thank goodness i made them call billing & ask. not what i'd been told. a few days after i complained i had a yelling, screaming guy cussing me out on the phone. apparently they didn't get credit for a sale. NOT a good practice. but then cox has few that are.
