Hello Whirlwind. I certainly apologize for the Cox Hotspot issue you are experiencing. You can disable the feature within the Cox website by opting out of the feature on your MyProfile once logged in with the primary User ID. The below steps should get you through the process of disabling. If you are unable to, then please send us an email with your full name and complete address to Cox.Help@cox.com. To disable Cox Hotspots, complete the following steps.
- Open a web browser and enter www.cox.com/myprofile.
- Sign in to your account by entering your primary Cox user ID and password.
- From the Password, Security & Privacy section, click Privacy preferences.
- From the Privacy preferences page, does the Cox Hotspot section display?
- If yes, then click the radio button next to Disable.
- If no, then contact us for help.
- Click Save changes.
