Changing gateway name

In the Cox Panoramic App I go through the steps to changing my wifi name and get the same prompt even after reinstalling the app on my iphone 13 pro max. "the settings could not be updated. please try again later." Name or password will not change. Whats the point of the app if it doesn't work? This has been going on since 7am Arizona time until 12:53pm.
