CM1100 - New gigablast user stuck at 300M instead of 1000

Scott...in this item, there is a procedure that CurtB posted about checking the network speed of your computer. https://forums.cox.com/forum_home/internet_forum/f/internet-forum/23469/recent-upgrade-to-300-mbps-plan-yields-the-same-speeds

Wow, possible 1gig speeds are hard to imagine from these pieces of hardware. COX should give a trial period for users purchasing this.

OP has achieved 300 Mbps. Is there a NIC between 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps?
