CM1100 - New gigablast user stuck at 300M instead of 1000

A few weeeks back I got a CM1100 Netgear Modem, and upgraded my cox service to gigblast I have never seen the gigablast speed The best I have achieved is 300MB speed Im wondering if the cox sid...

So I found out what it was

I also have a netgear nighthawk R7000 router

I had QOS enabled on it

As soon as I totally disabled it, all the speed test sites started reporting way better speeds

fast.com (the netflix tester) got to 890

Close enough for me
