I have a Nighthawk Mesh Wifi 6 Router MR60. It requires an ethernet connection for the service. My COX line into the house is coax. I guess I need to figure out how to convert the coax to ethernet - I assumed that a MoCA box would be required.
You need to purchase a MODEM. You can connect the modem ethernet port to the Nighthawk mesh ethernet port.

I assumed OP already had a modem since they had a "internet only account". I thought they had a Panoramic gateway and was trying to use the MoCA client inside. Unfortunately that client is disabled unless you use wireless TV boxes. Never really understood why.

Not yet, the OP hasn't posted having a modem. ALL he says is he disconnected his netgear router, and then tries to connect his cable wire to a MOCA connecter and run the ethernet from the moca connecter to his new mesh router. They state, that they connected an ethernet wire his from OLD netgear router, and since there is no information on THAT router being connected to a separate modem, it's a good bet it IS a Modem/Router combo!
