Heck yeah brother there are way better routers, firewalls, WiFi units...
They range from like $100 for a good unit on sale to a couple grand if you got bread like that (or just put that ish on ya credit car fr)
I be likin the cheap Netgear joints, if you got the dough tho you can look at Ubiquiti (and if you really got it like that look at Meraki fr)

Most routers are better. Here's my testing of a PW7 compared to a really old D3 Arris DG2460

I currently use a netgear CM2000 modem and a netgear RAXE300 router, and I am extremely pleased.
I am on 500 down/50 up and here are my ethernet test results

Most of them are better. I use a Netgear RAXE300. Wall to wall coverage in my townhome, (1632 sq ft), and great speeds. Modem is a Netgear CM2000
