Email being deleted without being read

Hello all —

I have many correspondents with .mil email accounts.  When they email me with an attached file, Cox replies that their email "was deleted without being read."  The email is, in fact, picked up my client (Apple Mail) and delivered to my computer.

This only happens in the .mil domain and only with attachments.  What's going on, and how do I fix it?

    Hello Mick,

    Are you still having this problem?  If so can you email us at cox.help@cox.com and let us know which email address you're having the issue with?  It would also be helpful, if possible, to send a screenshot of what is being seen on the other end.

    @Mick536,

    Do you have apple mail delete the email copy on the server or are you saving the copy?
