i agree about being nice to the techs. i agree that some are really obtuse & i think the "lets check your modem" thing every time is a stall. but keep in mind, cox does not give these folks an answer sheet. new stuff gets thrown at them all day. since this pitiful email product got rolled out it's been one thing after another, i had a tier 2 try to help me with eudora (yes, i'm showing my age but i LOVE it) the other day. he gave me just enough hints that i was able to google an intelligent question & got things solved. over and above if you ask me. (don't think he was old enough to have ever heard of it. or eudora welty.)
now my secondary address won't send today. no error message. just won't go. works fine for webmail. not eudora. but thunderbird was based on eudora so i will try to adapt greek eagle's suggestions.
i do love the way one of the moderators chime in all happy AFTER someone solved the problem they needed help with. :)
