and it times out in seconds!
for my beloved eudora users (they seem to be a great bunch of humans!),
1) to change ports...you have to know what the last port was you used. go to tools/options/sending mail (will show the last port used) ck certificate info manager...do the drill happy face+, happy face+....till you get to a skull & crossbones. click it & click trusted. done/done/done
2) then you need to send an email...PROBLEM...go to "special"/forget passwords ...pick your personality
press send, type in current cox password FOR THAT PERSONALITY, it should go.
now you can go back & see what port was used & contine with saved password.
repeat if you have other personalities.
but today...my dominant is working & the other one starts to send...but stops in seconds. no error message. which is what i'm asking allan about.
can't fix the problem if i don't know what the problem is.
maybe my secondary is going thru a different server that is down? not the way i would organize a platform, but....i don't work for cox!
