Hello, on a hard-wired connection, what upload speeds are you receiving? Do you use a VPN when gaming? Please be sure your laptop or PC has an operating system that is up-to-date with the latest software. There are many factors that can cause slow speeds, including the age of your computer or laptop, software or operating system versions, the presence of viruses and malware, and the number of simultaneous applications running. Additionally, congestion on websites visited, including high demand by multiple simultaneous users, can cause slower than normal speeds.
I have pinged your modem several times, and we are not detecting any signal issues or packet loss at this time. Are any other devices in the home experiencing slow upload speeds as well? -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator

Right now the speed is great, it usually is first thing in the morning.
I see 11MB upload, that is until around 12pm and it begins fluctuating again and dropping to 0MB, it's always around the same time this happens.
All systems are up to date, using Windows 10 OS.
2 PCs show the upload speed around 2MB when it happens, so I ruled out malware and viruses (both been checked incase)
The issue isn't web browsing, it's streaming, the upload dropping makes it impossible to stream when it starts, when it happens a number of speed test sites say the upload has dropped to around 1-2MB sometimes even less.
I'll reply to this when it starts again so you can ping it while it's happening.
butrflysmooches....your posted modem results above look very good power and SNR, however, those Correctable's has to be bad. Maybe someone like WiderM can speculate on why such items appear.
You run the Cox or other speed tests and see down/up speeds and you say it goes bad about 12pm. Are you Streaming video's to watch, like youtube, etc. Should this activity only affect the download side. Or, are you playing interactive games that need the upload? Have you also done these activities when the speeds were better. I was just curious if you do the same down/up activities during the good and bad times. I'm sure you can "feel" when you speeds diminish.
I've also watched my TaskManager/Performance/ and select Ethernet or maybe Network to see the send/receive Mbps while doing your activities. Hang in there till you are satisfied. I wish COX would fix my inability to insert Images into this reply box. I'm jealous when I see inserts that you and many others can do.. Mine just doesn't work.
I see a constant 2mbps to 5mbps on a daily for about 3 months now, got a maintence ticket put out to fix the problem, they say it is a problem with the pole, saw a truck down my street earlier, but they haven't come to my house yet so issues still remains.

My husband is a streamer, it happens usually around noon while he is streaming. He cannot hold an upload connection once it's starts as it continues to drop to 0MBs and kicks the software off, the fluctuations are really bad when it's happening.
Download speeds are always good, sometimes too good (higher than we should get) the only thing affected is upload speed.
Husband is currently streaming right now at a steady 3MBs, will update when fluctuations starts.
I wish mine fluctuates, I just get a constant 3-5 mbps, cannot game at all.

zurg...upload of 0.0, like it's stuck. I'm in SoCal and get 50/5.8 to BatonR and 26/11 to NewE Cox...go figure the upload at 11 is higher than what I get in my SoCal of 224/5.1.
WiderM, I didn't know how to interpret the Corr/UnCorr values. Mine reads 0, so I was surprised to see any posted here. Saw another user posting numbers in both cols of >1000 too.
I'm curious about what this orig poster was doing at the various times when he was measuring the speeds. Maybe he was just running speed tests, and saw times change at 12pm. I'm not a gamer so I don't see or feel I need high interactive responses back to the game.
