Not broken, I get too *** many!
How long have you been getting these emails? Some suspect the Save button on the Options page of the Forum is broken (javascript void), so the OP's preference cannot be saved.
However, if you saved your preference for notifications before the button broke, this may help confirm there is nothing we can do about notifications.

I can't believe that they don't know how to fix this issue 👎

I would do what I did when I had a ticket open. I emailed them every week asking for a update. In my case it was a ticket with the forum vendor and I didn't have any luck in the end but my point is to be persistent. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease
The squeaky wheel lost hundreds of posts.

I don't feel the resolve is about knowledge or skill but...perhaps...expense. Cox probably contracted a company to build and maintain, contract expired and the Forum is just in sustainment mode. Could someone fix it? Yes. Is it a priority? No.

Your probably right about that.

For a couple of years I would guess. Sent to my Cox email. Want me check any settings?

You can check or uncheck any setting but you won't be able to save your changes. The Save button doesn't work. You have to create a rule in webmail to process the notifications from your Inbox to Trash.

My question is what is the default for new users now? Are they being flooded by notifications they can't turn off?
