I can also confirm there are a lot of these types of emails coming through in the last few months, it's getting so ridiculous I'm considering deleting my email account after having it for more than a decade.

Since the spam and junk mail seems to have increased, I did try to unsubscribe. However the garbage I'm getting now is so suspicious that I'm just blocking everything, but it's a ridiculous amount. Several of the phishing emails appear to come from cox or comcast, I forwarded them as attachments to phishingreport@cox.net. I will try marking the spam on webmail as well.

You mean, like you've been "working on" a solution to the tons of robocalls on the landlines? I finally had to just eliminate a landline I'd had for over 20 years due to the amount of junk calls - and continued "we're working on a solution" for Cox that went absolutely NOWHERE. A simple way to implement NoMoRobo would have been great, but Cox would not even upgrade their systems to allow simultaneous ring so we could take advantage of that FREE solution!
No, I'm considering deleting an email account I've had for more than 20 years because you can't work out some way to filter out incoming spam emails that your OUTGOING servers easily identify as SPAM!
