Internet interruption

I had a cox tech come over this afternoon 10/6 to investigate why my internet wasn’t working. Come to find out, tech says a third party that was working on another resident’s internet cut or uninstall cable which took mine off line. This happened to me twice in two weeks since I moved in. Has this happened to others in my area?
