Introducing Cox Gigablast

In the last week, contractors on behalf of Cox have installed new cabling terminating in a new utility box in my front yard. The box is labeled as "broadband." Just wondering if this means gigablast may be available soon? I called customer service and they said the field that would normally tell them an ETA for my area is empty, but that they have no information that's its even being considered for my area yet.

Excited to upgrade. Just wondering if anyone could share their experience of how cox laid the fiber, the components used, how long it took for the service to be available, etc.
