I'm curious how long once this so called Gigabit internet has been rolled out will it reach my portion of the Omaha metro, as I don't live in Omaha itself, but right next door in Council Bluffs, which has had a fiberoptic node pretty much the ENTIRE time that the fiber network has existed in Iowa, LONG before gigabit internet was EVER mentioned by any residential provider, including Google. I find it a little sad the only reason Google isn't coming here is because both you and your so called competitor CenturyLink are rolling out their own 'gigabit' internet services. I also find it sad the only reason we don't have access to said fiber node is because both you and CenturyLink have such a hold over the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro. Any other reason for this is an excuse by people not wanting to admit that businesses of any kind, once they establish themselves, find it hard to ever want to allow any 'competition' and instead force us to use half **** technology that you only upgrade portions of AFTER you've started rolling it out.
