What sort of equipment are you running? Wired? Wireless? If the speed test comes back favorable I'd have a hard time thinking you would have issues when watching Netflix or iTunes? Do you use dedicated devices (e.g., Apple TV, Fire TV, etc...) or older computer. I suspect older computer would have hard time playing these HD materials.
I have a Apple TV 2, connected to the router provided by Cox (now in access point bridge mode), I have never had any issues with Netflix buffering.
Maybe trying with a newer computer and connect directly to the back of the router and see if you are still experiencing any buffering, just as a test.
