Not to hijack the thread here, but I am in Maricopa County, AZ and have had outages since June 21st.
For the first few weeks, Cox insisted I continue resetting my modem/router, ensuring connections are tight, etc. Now, their app just says there's "network impacting issues" for about 3 weeks with no updates. Very frustrating.
What model modem do you have? Hopefully not a Panoramic gateway. Can you post the signal levels? Also, anything critical in the logs?
Also, I hear there is a big outage/update going on today near Phoenix. See here. Maybe they are finally fixing the issue?

Can't post the signal levels right now unfortunately, but I have a Motorola Modem that I purchased about a year ago, not a Panoramic gateway through Cox. Model: MB8611. Nothing critical in the logs when I checked a few days ago. I'm paying for 1GB service and speed tests usually come back fine (around 700MB - 1GB). However, the outages are intermittent and VERY frequent. Maybe 5+ times per hour.
Thanks for the link to the update. Hopefully that addresses the issue out where I live as well (east side of Maricopa County).

I hear Motorola modems have a hard time if the signal is too strong. Probably not your issue but something to keep in mind when you look at your signal levels. Also, I understand the heat we have been seeing may play a role. Do you notice if the outages are during high-noon or other hot times? Either way, fingers crossed for you.

Interesting to hear about the possible Motorola problems. I did upgrade my service at the beginning of the month from the 250MB plan, but we were already having outages at that time, though. If the issue persists, would you recommend another brand modem? I am using a Nighthawk Router if that matters.
The outages don't seem to be during any specific time of day. I notice it all the way until about 10 PM when I sleep.
