I know exactly what you mean, as I have been dealing with this for over 2 weeks ever since they sent the email to change your ports. I can receive emails, but cannot send emails. Now, my cell phone is having issues with sending.
I deleted the account on my cell, now trying to set it up again, and now, I get your sign in is wrong. I know my username and password, which is the same as on my computer.
Now as for my computer, I use the POP , with the incoming server port as 995 (SSL) and the outgoing server (SMTP) 465 (SSL). Incoming works, but not outgoing. Very frustrating that Cox cannot fix this issue. My husband has no issue, but I am having the issue.
So, if anyone has been able to get this resolved, please let us know.
