Transition from Windows Live

Has anyone transitioned to Windows Live Email? Been using this program last 20 years with Cox.

    I am still using Windows live mail. You will have to use it as POP, since Yahoo Mail is incapable of working properly with windows Live Mail as IMAP. You will get nothing but errors. If you want to use IMAP, you will have to use Outlook, or the outlook APP.

      Thanks for reply. Always used POP for incoming mail on WLM. Seems like it the same settings needed on the transfer from Cox to Yahoo.

    Transitioned to Yahoo mail. Cant get WLM to work with Yahoo. Keep getting incorrect password. Do I need to generate an app password in Yahoo email to use on WLM?
