Do you have anything connected via ethernet? Does it lose internet also, or does it stay connected?
Are you using personally owned equipment, or Cox's pano modem?
Remember, WiFi, 2.4 and 5 Ghz, are open frequencies used by a lot of things, Cordless phones, microwave ovens, bluetooth devices, cordless keyboard and mice, game controllers, baby monitors, garage door openers, and RC toys. I worked with someone, who's neighbor was using a baby monitor, and every time she cut in on, (Each house on an acre of land, nice brick houses), it would step all over her WiFi.
What we need to ascertain, is your modem dropping signal to Cox 's internet, OR, is the a WiFi interference issue, or is it WiFi connectivity to the router?
