Wireless Contour Stream Player (Cox TV) usage is being counted towards my Data Usage

I realized today that Cox is counting my Contour wireless usage (Cox cable TV) towards my Data usage cap. Got an alert yesterday that I have used 75% of my data and I still have 10 more days left in ...

    wifi isn't a freebie, it's using the 1tb data.

      Yeah....a moderator confirmed live cable-TV would count against your cap.

      Because of this, I don't know what the incentive is to get a Wireless 4K Contour Stream Player (phew!).  W4KCSP

      You have a W4KCSP?  Do you watch live cable-TV on it?  Meaning, if the Red Sox are beating the Stankees on the CBS broadcast channel, you can watch it on channel 9 (or whatever is CBS in your town of Huckleberry)?

        i bought two 55" samsungs 3 years ago, turns out one had a bad screen.

        tv's were 4k capable. under warranty, a tech came out/swapped the screen + showed me a 4k presentation on usb.

        colors/detail were so much better than regular cox tv but none of the local stations were doing 4k.

        live diamondback baseball is great, even with cox tv, put up on fox sport channel in hd.

        i select only hd presentation with the contour tv guide.
