Do you have Internet service and if so, does it also go out? Cable box overheating? Do you have splitters on the coax? If so, what does a visual inspection of the splitters reveal? Have you removed the wall plate of your coax for the possibility of additional splitters? More splitters, more problems; older splitters, newer problems.
Do you unplug the cable box or reset the cable box from your Cox account?
