chwdr3....maybe you need to re-program the Contour remote and re-check the instructions that give the numeric number for the Samsung. I had, myself moved from the old DVR to the Contour2 and used the old number for my Samsung. That number changed on the new 2 remote.
On another note, you now have 4 Contour2 DVR's....because you wanted independent recordings from each TV or another reason. I also went this way because my old 2 machines could record independently. Now, with these 2 newer DVR's I sometimes get shows programed from one DVR/TV appearing on the other DVR. Not sure if you really wanted a Whole House system instead, which COX provides...allowing 6 simultaneous records, or the 2 max with playback of an existing recorded show that you currently get from the Contour2. That was what I wanted, but COX changed the Contour2 to Not allow the 2 or more DVR's from actually seeing each other... I have a beef with this setup, because both DVR can see what is scheduled, and occasionally a recorded show from one appears on the other....bummer

thanks for the reply -- will consider that ~ the cox remote functionality still seems like it remains each day, just the source input is not recognized

Was this ever resolved? I also have a new QLED Samsung and my cox 4k streaming box has to be unplugged and plugged back in for the tv to recognize it. I re-paired the cox remote with no improvement.

not resolved. I tried the re-pairing remote also :(

chwdr3...I see that your Xi6-A is indeed a wireless cloud storage system, excuse me for not further checking. I'm guessing my issue with 2 boxes "storing" recordings initiated on the other DVR probably goes away if the repository of files are in the "cloud" I will have to investigate this setup. Does this setup allow a Host with 3 clients, or does 4 have to be a Host with wireless connect to a cloud. How is the response time when viewing the recordings. I also would guess that "live" recordings are still coming thru the cable and only stored stuff is in the cloud? Maybe not!
Too bad about your Qled not syncing up with the remote. Someone out there should be able to help, maybe with a firmware update. Keep posting.

response time to view recorded content seems fine... not sure what you mean about "live" recordings; and thinking about it, I do not think this set up is giving six simultaneous records because i see some conflicts upcoming in future nights when 3 programs overlap.. hm, not sure if I can change something in our setup to accommodate going forward.
The last cox tech who was at our house and looked at the syncing issue (and thought he'd fixed it) left his card so we will try getting back in touch w/ him
appreciate the posts by all here ~ any other ideas please reply :)

"live" to me was any TV show that was not "recorded by you and stored in the cloud." I would guess that a football game or TV drama is still coming to you via your coaxial cable from the street. I'm wondering if Cox had suggested the 4 DVR setup or did you ask for it because you had a previous old configuration like this. I have a 2 DVR Contour2 setup like I had with my older 2 TV boxes. I know that Cox was pushing the single Host (that stores recording) and multiple TV client machines that talk to the Host....something like that. Yours seem not to be this kind of setup, although maybe with the Cloud, all 4 act like Client machines. There may be a price differences with the different types of boxs. Cloud based may require a unique setup.
With all 4 boxes, it would be terrible if you cannot get the 6 record, especially if you are paying for that service. Hang in there!

Yeah, i'll look at my bill online & see what this setup is itemized as; there is no coaxial connection at all! my understanding is it flows through the wireless internet connection throughout the whole house
