Why the bill increase for January?
Received my bill statement today only to find it had an increased rate from every month I had paid previously. The bill explanation mentioned that it might be different and to check news from Cox or the Bill Messenger Center for details but I can’t find any explanation anywhere. No I’m not on some discount, new customer plan before anyone asks. Can someone explain this to me or link me to an actual explanation?2KViews0likes3CommentsThanks COX, for increasing my bill.
Well I have been a long time customer since 2018, I have had a steady monthly rate of around 190-209$, that is affordable, but now as of this morning, I checked my bill and it is 296$, and that is not affordable, and I have no idea why this happened, I do not understand why my bill jumped that much, it is insane and very wrong for my bill to be that high, because I have been dealinng with ongoing internet issues for months now, and it is a pain to try and deal with it, i send email after email showing the issues, i get phone call after phone call, tech after tech, for what? a huge bill increase, and not to mention in a pandemic, If my bill doesnt go back to what it was I will be forced to leave cox, cause this is a joke, a very bad one at that.635Views0likes2CommentsRefund Request from cox. For those who overpaid on their cox bill and got confused.
Advice from paralegal! Record your phone conversations when you start talking with the phone rep. Be nice, and ask politely for them to issue the base amount that you overpaid. Basically what happen to me, is that the first time I called and wanted to record my conversation with them she said no I can't. Actually, cox, if you start to record conversations the customer has the right to record. They said they will issue me a check for $117.86 that takes about three weeks. October 5th is when I am expecting it to arrive. If they don't issue you a check. You can take them to small claims for for money damages awarded in your favor. Customers have rights too!10KViews0likes7Commentsustomer interface on the Cox Home page?
I sign on the my "account" page and all I get is the "Interactive bill check here" message. I'm not able to see or pay my bill. I've changed my password and all looks ok. Still can't pay or view my services sof bill. I do get a lot of "commercial pop-up windows" but no account information. Clicking on the footer URL's doesn't do much but return me to the interactive info page. Has anyone seen this? Good thing I still get snail mail bills, etc.2.2KViews0likes1CommentPaying for premier services getting dial up speed
I there a reason I have been getting below 10 download and over 40 upload speed? This mainly happens at night. But if I am paying over a 260.00 cable bill I should get what I pay for. I have been with Cox for over 13 years..... The service guys have been out to my house 5 or 6 times already and still this issue is not fixed...4.7KViews0likes10CommentsUnable to process online payment
I have this weird message when i try to pay my bill online (using the web/app). It said that "We are unable to process your payment online. Please contact a Customer Care representative to make your payment". Anybody knows whats going on before i have to make the call to cox support (don't really really want to do this)? My bill is all current. Should I try different day or maybe their online payment server is down? Much appreciated3.7KViews0likes0CommentsWould my Data Limit increase if I upgrade my Internet package?
I was curious on whether or not my data limit would increase when I upgrade packages; currently I am only using preferred but was thinking of going to ultimate. I find myself often going over the limit with playing video games, having multiple devices and streaming/recording my gameplay. The deal seems it would benefit me but if I am still restricted on data as I am then I would just be paying even more.2.3KViews0likes0Comments
