V205 error using Cox OnDemand with Tivo
Hi! After several calls, I have my Tivo Roamio set up with cablecard and the tuning adapter. I'm able to get all channels (including premium), and finally able to access the Cox OnDemand app. However, no matter what show I select through OnDemand, I get the V205 error with a '500' at the bottom of the screen. I tried to work through this with Tier2 support, but they weren't able to resolve this issue. Can you help?3.9KViews0likes4CommentsMust reset cable boxes every day
Every time I turn on the Contour boxes, if I change the channel, the box will not connect. In order to get the channel, I have to power cycle the box. This is on every single box, indicating to me that the software is the problem. I already have the boxes set to reboot every day, so that isn't the problem. Please check the software, or go back one. I currently have 2 Samsung GX-SM530CF media players with Cox cable cards and tuners. After the initial installation of the cable cards we were receiving all of our subscribed channels however we now seem to be experiencing significant issues. On one of the devices we are missing numerous channels and on the other device we are no longer receiving any channels at all. I have called into Cox on multiple occasions however no one has been able to get the cable cards up and running again. I would greatly appreciate any guidance that you could provide which would help me to get both players up and running again. I have an HD Homerun Prime device I use with a Cox cable card. I have used this setup for around 3 years now with no issues. The past couple of weeks all of my non local channels are not loading on the hdhomerun app. They say HDCP required to display. This has never been the case before. I use to be able to watch ESPN, TBS, etc without any issues. Now I can't even view these channels. I also use this with plex live/dvr and the channels will no longer load there either. Only my local channels. This is horrible. Is there anything I can do? A couple of months ago when I would call in Cox there was an automatic message asking if I was calling due to needing to update my cable card. I wonder if it has anything to do with that? I have numerous issues, every couple of weeks, losing a signal, being told the channel is not authorized, or no reception at all, just a black screen. When I changed channels, the reception was slowing down all day - and then I found recording issues, Example: @ 2 PM, channel 129 recorded 1 min. 10 sec; at 2PM, the CW recorded for 1 min. 11 sec.; HBO at 10:30PM showed NOT AUTHORIZED; at 11 PM showed NO SIGNAL. This requires rebooting every two weeks. Already had adapter box and cable card replaced. I miss recording shows all the time and not sure if I am the only one. HELP!!!1.2KViews0likes1Comment
