Rejected messages
It appears the new spam filtering service Cox is using (cloudfilter.net) is blocking a lot of valid mail. I would like to know where our individual portals and addressbooks are that we can configure our own whitelists and to be able to see what messages are being rejected. It is one thing to be identify a message as spam, and another thing entirely to reject them without notification. I have mail senders from a good number of places and since my mail volume has dropped by over 75%, it is quite safe to assume the spam aggressiveness thresholds are set quite high as well as are the bulk sender identifiers and anti-spoofing features. While you claim to not whitelist senders, you do need to provide your users the ability to do so. No doing so means you are censoring email Also, it is poor form to put a like to review changes and then have it error out. http://postmaster.cox.net/confluence/display/postmaster/Error+Codes If you are going to implement such a service you should become a lot more responsive with corrective actions. I am now on my second day waiting for an answer on my ticket with Tier 2, and third day with the actual issue at large.5.7KViews0likes7CommentsWhy are emails sent from Apple to my Cox address being blocked?
Starting Friday night my messages feature stopped working on my iPad. After lengthy diagnostics with Apple I have come to find my email address can not be verified by Apple. I've used the same email for 12 yrs. one of Apples senior technical support advisors attempted to email me while we spoke. The email was immediately returned to him as blocked. I have not blocked them or anyone for that matter. The Cox support staff has been anything but supportive, telling me to wait 48 hrs before contacting them again.4.8KViews0likes14CommentsSacrilege
It is January 1, 2013. Cox basic TV carries only one (1) major bowl game. And your Internet carries none. I hope the New Year works out as badly for you as you have made it for me. Clearly, Time Warner is doing better in almost the same territory at comparable or less cost to its consumers. Dennis Kocinich, where are you?? Now for my question, how much do you pay PUCO to allow you to continue such lousy service?2.7KViews0likes3CommentsRedsox on TBS
Yesterday, 4/14, I settled down to tune into the Redsox and Rays game on TBS only to find a stupid sitcom showing ( I forget what was showing, but it wasn't the Redsox). Is anyone else experiencing this issue?!? I'm in Manchester area of CT and TBS is #12 in the channel list.2.6KViews0likes1Comment
