Cannot Connect to the League of Legends LATAM Servers
Hello, After days of communication with the support team at Riot Games, we have come to the conclusion that it is just my personal internet connection that will not allow me to connect to their game servers. I can confirm this as I have been able to connect to the LATAM servers from other internet connections. Attached is a Tracert and I will also copy past the results below. Some help with resolving this issue would be great as i have been unable to connect for weeks now. Well my issue started when my old router got orange juice spilled on it, modem wasn't harmed at all. So we went and bought an upgraded version of our old one and ever since then we have been having random disconnects; we have just put up with it for awhile, but here recently its just getting real old. I have read up a bunch of different issues, but none have blamed the router. I was curious to as do I need to completely replace my old modem? Or is there just some way I can make then two communicate better, so I do not have these disconnects. I really really do not want to blame the router or get a new one for it was quite expensive. Hello. The wifi connection in my modem has stopped functioning. I can only access internet through the ethernet chord. Now, I have rebooted 3 times over the course of two days and the modem is still not giving out a wifi signal. "After many visits, the cable company technician gave me his cell phone number as he left my house and said to call if anything changed. My problem with intermittent loss of internet connectivity (termed "Modem Flap" in the industry) could not be solved. I was trekking to a downstairs closet to manually power-cycle my cable modem once or twice daily and the process was getting old." This is the lead paragraph of an article I co-authored in MagPi. Feb, 2014, Issue 20. In it we describe using a RaspberryPi micro computer to sense the loss of my internet connection and then re-connect to the cable plant automatically without human intervention. The solution plays well here and may be useful elsewhere. I have a Canon Pixma MP495 wifi Enabled printer. When I was with AT&T, I could power down all of my equipment at night -- Router, printer, laptop ac adapter -- to conserve electricity. In the morning, when I powered everything back up, the printer was online and ready to print. Now with my Cisco DPC 3825 gateway and Cox, the printer remains offline. I have tried reconnecting the printer using both the router hardware WPS button and the router's virtual button in the router's software which says the printer is successfully connected, but the printer doesn't come back online. Hey there, So I'm looking to get a new modem, because the one I have now has serious problems (not sure if I need a db check or if its the modem), but I'm just gonna get a new modem anyways. I saw on the Cox Preferred Modems page a list of compatible modems, but hey all have the package names that are required next to them. I only have Cox for internet so I'm not really sure if I have a package, or what is eligible with what. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's what I have: My account says I'm using "Cox High Speed Internet" as my only plan. I currently have a Netgear DOCSIS 3.0 N300 (DN6300P) I've been having issues with the internet ever since I switched to a Dual Channel Modem ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm not exactly sure what I should be doing in terms of router purchasing that would be compatible with my plan. It just seems weird that my plan says I can get speeds of 150mbps but I'm still referred to get a Dual Channel Modem, seems like too little power to be putting into a dual modem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway, thanks for reading, was hoping someone could sort this out and make it a bit clearer to me. So we got cox and i was recommended to it by a friend and so i trusted there word. well i will try to stay on topic and not list the other problems. it started a week after internet got hooked up my wife just bought a brand new laptop and she wanted to use the wifi she connected and it all worked well for about a week or two. she is not one to complain. and she didn't tell me about the issues till about 2 months ago or so. wifi keeps dropping and i have to reconnect it manually every time through the internet settings. and it started getting real old real fast so i called a couple of times about the internet was told that it might be some interference so i was told to try it in another location so i moved it to a few spots in the house where the jack was available and active still getting dropped. i was told everything seemed fine on there end but it isn't fine. cause i still cannot use my new laptop new cell phone and new ps4 cause every time i connect via wifi i get dropped after about 5-15 min. and i understand the traffic issues but this is unacceptable i pay you to provide a service now start providing. if it seems like im upset i am cause the internet is not the only issue but again any help would be appreciated. your modem we are renting: CISCO model: DPQ39252.7KViews0likes2Comments
