Series Recording Not Available
I called Cox this morning because the option to Record a Series is not available to me on my Contour 1 DVR for Big Brother, Days of Our Lives, or General Hospital among other shows. My parents in a different household have the same issue. On the guide, these shows do not have episode numbers in the episode description. There is just a period where the episode number should be. The person I spoke to on the phone said I had to schedule a technician to come out to check my signals, but I know this isn't an issue at just my house so I'm trying to get Cox to please fix this on their end. I opened a ticket about this last Friday, but there was no status on that ticket in the system. I'd like to avoid a technician coming to my house unnecessarily.

HBO Max Contour app?
Anyone know when we will get an HBO Max app for Contour boxes? After the news last week that Cox cut a deal with HBO for subscribers, I'm pretty disappointed to not find a way to actually watch HBO Max on my TV. And since I have a Roku TV, I'm doubly screwed out of getting to watch HBO Max because they haven't made a deal with Roku (and maybe won't? In case anyone's wondering,Amazon has no deal with Roku either) and I don't watch TV on my iPhone, iPad, or computer. This is a pretty frustrating and disappointing launch.

Blue display is horrible
Can the display on the contour box be changed? The time currently shows in blue and it is very difficult to see. I can’t even tell the time from 4 ft away, looks to be an issue for some time now. Shocked that it hasn’t been addressed. Thanks.

Recording in the cloud vs DVR with hard drive
I am relatively new to Contour, and I am at my wits end. Cox set me up to record shows on their cloud server. When I try to watch a show recorded in the cloud, the playback is often interrupted by loss of picture, sound, or both, plus picture freezes. The frequency and severity of the problem varies, but at its worst, it renders the program unwatchable. During these periods, it is also impossible to use FAST FORWARD, as the picture freezes as the time line progresses, making it impossible to know when to stop FF. I have had three service calls, which have included replacing the coax in my house. The technician told me it was not at my end. Live TV does NOT have this problem, nor does ON DEMAND or streaming on Netflix.

Contour box rebooting and freezing constantly.
My TV was working great for quite some time and then last week around the 18th my box would start freezing, then the satellite boxes started freezing and then showing an error message and then rebooting the whole system whenever it wants. I have had three techs out. 2 times new boxes were put on, one guy even checked my voltage and said that might be the problem. I have tried other outlets and my other things plugged into the same outlet do not do the same thing. (Modem, phone etc). So I have no idea what to do about this. I am about ready to give up and turn in my boxes. The headache and the price is just not worth it. I even tried plugging my box into a different outlet and it still did the same rebooting dance. I have no idea what is wrong and these techs they send out just put in new boxes, poke around a few places and leave without it working at all!!!!!! Anyone else have this issue? Please tell me I am not alone.

Contour DVR & Samsung TV have Intermittant Audio for all live, pre-recorded & Netflix shows
Have a new Contour box on a new Samsung TV connected via HDMI cable that has intermittent audio with sound dropping out for from several seconds to several minutes at a time, on all channels and all modes of viewing (live, recorded, On Demand & Netflix). Neither resetting nor replacing the Contour box has resolved the issue. Help! Signed: Missing Dish in San Diego

Roku and Fire tv
When l signed up for internet and added contour television, I was told no box was needed, why don't you make your contour app available to Roku and Fire tv, Directv Now and Sling tv were not afraid, stop jerking us customers around and do the right thing, why should we be forced to wear out our pc's, laptops, and tablets, streaming Cox television to our big screens, just because Cox thinks it can force us to rent a box? That isn't happening! So again do the right thing Cox !!!!!

Does the new Contour 6 (and Contour 2) DVRs automatically store 6 (or 2) channels at the same time without setting up to record? My present DVRs (I have two) both auto record the channel each tuner is on and I can switch back and forth with the "SWAP" button. Is this feature available on the Contour DVRs?

Why does FOX BUSINESS (and sometimes FOX NEWS) not play audio and video on Contour only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday?
Contour App to play tv on the computer will not play Fox Business on weekends, sometimes just the audio will not play for Fox Business channel and sometimes both the audio and video for Fox Business will not play... usually only Friday, Saturday and Sundays.... however CNN will play as will some Food channels at those times on Contour. That makes me think possibly someone who works at Cox Cable is turning off the Fox Business Channel Feed on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. This has happened in various forms for the last month and I need to follow stock market news for work. It is highly annoying. A month ago both Fox News and Fox Business was not working on Contour on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but CNN was working on Contour. All of the TV Go channels should work on Contour on the weekends, not randomly losing audio or both audio and picture for some channels.
